The metering system is a skid-mounted metering system (device) used as a trade handover in the sub-delivery station of a long distance natural gas pipeline. It integrates the functions of filtration, metering, gas component analysis, flow comparison, online calibration, system venting, automatic switching and so on. According to different working conditions and requirements, it can be divided into turbine metering system, ultrasonic metering system, mass metering system, hole plate metering system, etc.
The metering system is generally composed of several subsystems, such as filtration system, metering system, flow comparison system, gas chromatographic analysis system, online calibration system, blow-off system and gas leakage alarm system. A straight pipe section that meets the requirements and a flow computer are used to compensate the temperature and pressure of the gas for flow calculation. The gas component signal is detected by an online gas chromatography analyzer. Flow comparison is to connect two or more flowmeters in series to achieve the purpose of comparison, the online calibration system is according to the process requirements, the online calibration port is reserved on the system. In principle, the blow-off system adopts centralized blow-off, and the gas leak alarm system can be interlinked with the main valve and blow-off system. When there is a risk of leakage on site, the station control system controls the main valve to close, and opens the blow-off system for emergency blow-off.
The system has very high requirements for the flow meter and straight pipe section, gas analyzer and rectifier, the turn-off valve before and after the flow meter is very important, requiring zero leakage, and the technical level and installation accuracy of the manufacturer also have a direct impact on the accuracy of the measurement system. The above principles are the most basic requirements to ensure the measurement accuracy of the system. ◆ The station control system collects the operating parameters of the metering system, such as flow, pressure, temperature, valve working status and other information. When the operating metering pipeline fails, the station control system will automatically switch the metering pipeline to the standby pipeline to ensure the normal operation of the metering system, and ensure the continuous gas supply to the downstream owner;
◆ Complete the overall pressure test and overall function test of individual equipment and skid-mounted system in the factory.
